Music therapy is a profession that reaches out to individuals from all walks of life. From infancy to end of life, we develop a deep relationship to music that is shaped by our interests, culture, family, and experiences. Music therapists are trained to to create individualized musical experiences to help their clients meet a variety of developmental or wellness related goals. Because of the uniquely personal nature of music therapy, it can be used to benefit individuals from a variety of populations and backgrounds.
